2023 Strategic Framework
Together We Can is Creative Recovery Network’s 2023 action plan that builds on our vision to embed arts-based programs into disaster planning to support and strengthen communities.
Our strategic framework articulates our goal to position the organisation to work collaboratively with all facets of the disaster management ecosystem to reimagine positive futures and build capacity to face the challenges ahead.
Reimagining positive futures
Developed to reflect the revised direction of the Creative Recovery Network, the 2023 strategic framework outlines the objective and strategies of the organisation focussing on the current need for:
- Capacity building and training for a federated network of practitioners and community leaders trained in creative recovery processes, scaleable for national application
- Fostering cross-sector relationships to implement creative recovery activation model within existing disaster management systems
- Ongoing commitment to supporting rigorous, evidence-based research of creative recovery programs as an advocacy tool to influence policy frameworks and funding decisions
