Creative advocacy
We champion the role of the arts and advocate for embedding arts-based programs in disaster management planning.
We do this at a policy level through our National Taskforce for Creative Recovery, recommending pathways for embedding the arts and culture into local, state and federal government planning.
We do this at a community level by providing mentoring, support and practical advice for disaster impacted communities to incorporate creative practices into their preparedness and recovery planning.
We also work directly with recovery committess and local government to facilitate education, project planning and partnerships to activate arts-based programs within their cultural plans.
