Lockyer Valley Land Art Project – the Brimblecombe Family

Farmers and artists across the Lockyer Valley came together to creatively explore resilience and community identity following the 2011 & 2013 Queensland floods. The project facilitated a series of artist-in-residence programs where artists stayed with farming families over a period of two weeks to  create a collaborative work of art about the recovery process. This project was funded by Arts Queensland and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal as part of the Creative Recovery pilot project.

Location: Brimblecombe Family Farm – Moira Farming, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, Queensland, Australia

Funding Body: Arts Queensland Creative Recovery Initiative and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal
